Obama Praises Illegal Immigrants

King George didn’t listen to us either!

For the past several days the nation's television screens have been filled with scenes of huge crowds carrying the colorful green and red flag of Mexico. Viewers could well have thought it was a national holiday in Mexico City. It was instead, tens of thousands of illegal immigrants and La Raza (The Race) activists, chanting Mr. Obama’s campaign slogan of “Yes we can” in Spanish and waving Mexican flags at a Washington D.C. rally calling for legislation this year (2010) to give legal status to over 15 million illegal immigrants. “The angst and trepidation in our communities is unprecedented,” Reverend Samuel Rodriguez said. He compared the mood among Latinos to the hard days of the civil rights movement. “This is our Selma,” he said.

Obama addressed the La Raza crowd of illegal immigrants via a videotaped message displayed on huge TV screens. “I have always pledged to be your partner as we work to fix our broken immigration system, and that’s a commitment that I reaffirm today,” Mr. Obama said.

Can you imagine Obama paying homage to a group of Anglo-Saxon Americans who called themselves "The Race"? No matter. My only question for President Obama is, "Where was US Immigration and Customs Enforcement during this huge rally of illegal immigrants"?

President Obama and the media have legitimized “The Race” as a mainstream ethnic lobbying group and marginalized its critics as intolerant bigots. And to make sure Obama has the muscle to promote La Raza's racist agenda he appointed Sonia Sotomayor to the United States Supreme Court. As a member of the National Council of La Raza, Ms. Sotomayor said: “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion as a judge than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.” That doesn't sound too racist does it?

The unvarnished truth is that La Raza is a radical racist organization, supported by President Barack Obama, Justice Sotomayor and Democrats in Congress, that abuses your tax dollars (Obama's Omnibus bill allocates $950,000 to the National Council of La Raza for "capitalization of a revolving loan to be used for nationwide community development activities."), and milks politically correct politics to undermine American sovereignty and national security.

The La Raza plan is what is referred to as the "Reconquista" or the reconquest of the Western United States, but it will not end with territorial occupation and secession. The final plan for the La Raza movement includes the ethnic cleansing of Americans of European descent out of "Aztlan" –  the "lost Territories" of the Southwestern United States.

La Raza and its youth group MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan) is an Hispanic separatist organization, supported by Barack Obama and the Democrat members of Congress, that encourages anti-American activities and civil disobedience. The members of La Raza, who refer to themselves as "Mechistas," romanticize Mexican claims to the "lost Territories" of the Southwestern United States –  a Chicano country called Aztlan. The myth of Aztlan can best be explained by California's Chicano Studies textbook, "The Mexican American Heritage" by East Los Angeles high school teacher Carlos Jimenez. On page 84 there is a redrawn map of Mexico and the United States, showing Mexico with a full one-third more territory, all of it taken from the United States of America. On page 107, it says "Latinos are now realizing that the power to control Aztlan may once again be in their hands."

Obviously in order to meet the demands of La Raza would mean a re-evaluation of the border between the two countries as we know it today. The school textbook, paid for by American tax payers, cites no references or footnotes, leaving school children totally dependent on their teacher to separate fact from opinion and political propaganda. The book teaches separatism, victimization, Chicano nationalism, completely lacks patriotism towards the United States, and promotes the ethnic cleansing of Americans of European descent. The book is 100 percent racist propaganda featuring the radical opinions of the author, Carlos Jimenez. The Aztlan myth is further amplified at La Raza and MEChA club meetings held at public schools throughout the United States.

In its national constitution, MEChA calls for self-determination by its members to liberate Aztlan. MEChA's national constitution starts out: "Chicano and Chicana students of Aztlán must take upon themselves the responsibilities to promote Chicanismo within the community, politicizing our Raza with an emphasis on indigenous consciousness to continue the struggle for the self-determination of the Chicano people for the purpose of liberating Aztlán."

These anti-American "Mechistas" live with the false illusion that they are being racially discriminated against because they are Latinos while totally dismissing the idea that maybe it is their ideology that is being discriminated against. Barack Obama "the great community organizer" works closely with La Raza leaders and the Hispanic Caucus in Congress to exploit these racially charged sentiments that are so similar to his belief of Black Liberation Theology. In his recent Washington D.C. video address President Obama said, "I've got to tell you, being here with all of you today feels a little like coming home. Because while I stand here as President of the United States, I will never forget that the most important experience in my life came when I was doing what you do each day, working on the ground in our communities to bring about change". Do you think Obama would give the same speech at a rally of the KKK promoting white racial supremacy?

The most visible of the many La Raza groups are MEChA, The Brown Berets de Aztlan, OLA (Organization for the Liberation of Aztlan), La Raza Unida Party, and the "Nation of Aztlan" to name a few. Although the activism of these organizations vary from somewhat radical to extremely radical, they share the same objectives, the "liberation and ethnic cleansing of Aztlan."  Each follows the Raza manifesto "El Plan de Aztlan (sometimes called "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan"). The Nation of Aztlan, tied to La Voz de Aztlan disseminates the exact same propaganda that MEChA spreads including antisemitic propaganda. Believers in the Aztlan legend insist upon the indivisibility of "La Raza" and their common goals, one of them being the need to abolish the border between the U.S. and Mexico.

And there is a myriad of La Raza college newspapers that constantly spread racial hatred toward anyone who is not a Chicano. Some of these are: El Popo, Aztlan News, Chispas, Gente de Aztlan (UCLA), Voz Fronteriza (U.C. San Diego), La Voz Mestiza (U.C. Irvine) and La Voz Berkeley. It is not uncommon for the writers of these publications to refer to the U.S., as "AmeriKKKa." Sort of reminds you of Obama's friend and mentor Rev. Jeremiah Wright doesn't it?

Rhetoric by Chicano educators also strongly suggest Communist or Socialist leanings. In May, 2000, more than 1,200 students gathered at UCLA for the seventh annual Raza Youth Conference, which the members say promotes higher education and recognition of the Aztlan culture. Sponsored by La Raza and MEChA, that year's theme was, "Reclaiming Our Razas through education, resistance, and promoting the idea of remembering the historical struggles of Raza" said Erika Ramirez, co-chair of the conference. The conference drew students from 80 middle and high schools and community colleges, and featured speeches by those actively involved with the La Raza community.

The keynote speaker at the conference was Antonia Darder, a professor of education and cultural studies at Claremont Graduate University and director of the Institute for Cultural Studies in Education, who received a standing ovation for her speech.

Darder described American capitalism and what she said were its impacts on racism and sexism. "I grew up in a capitalist society, a society that taught us that the greed of corporations control politics," Darder said. "Capitalism is the root of domination. Racism and sexism exist because capitalism requires it." Darder said a globalized economy forced smaller countries to give up their self-sufficiency, resulting in people migrating to the U.S. "We're here because U.S. foreign policy in Latin America has forced us here," she said. No wonder Obama loves her.

The University of Oregon Chapter of MEChA hints at its communist sentiments by posting a picture of Cuba's communist dictator Fidel Castro and Che Guevara on its web site, "La Voz de Aztlan". Their website also has an excerpt from a speech of February 7, 1997, by Fidel Castro who said "the United States should return to Mexico huge chunks of that country's territories it acquired more than a century ago".  La Voz de Aztlan, whom Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa refuses to repudiate, also disseminates antisemitic propaganda on a regular basis.

Obviously, these "Raza" organizations are composed of people who unabashedly hate the United States and often support other groups and leaders, like Barack Obama and Justice Sotomayor, who also hate America. La Raza's hatred of America is so intense, that most make bedfellows with anyone else who also hates America, like dictator Fidel Castro; murderer of his own people Sadam Hussain; and the women hating Taliban – and of course they sympathize with all Islamic Terrorists over the Israel/Palestine issue. La Raza organizations are the loudest and most insistent element of the immigration lobby in the United States. Inebriated with a sense of righteous victimhood, and entranced by myths of a heroic racial past, devotees of the Aztlan cults are rapidly extending their influence within the Obama administration.

As Miguel Perez of Cal State-Northridge's MEChA chapter has been quoted as saying: "The ultimate ideology is the liberation of Aztlan. Communism would be closest [to it]. Once Aztlan is established, ethnic cleansing would commence: Non-Chicanos would have to be expelled – opposition groups would be quashed because you have to keep power."

It is obvious to even a casual observer that Barack Obama and La Raza have a lot in common: they both hate European Americans; they both hate the United States of America; they both hate capitalism; they both believe European Americans must "pay for their crimes"; and they both believe in Marxism. Birds of a feather flock together!

Only in Barack Obama's AmeriKKKa could outspoken critics of a group called “The Race” be labeled racists themselves! Such is the triumph of left-wing identity chauvinists, whose aggressive activists and supine abettors have succeeded in redefining all opposition as “hate.”

There has been a deliberate effort by President Obama and La Raza to obfuscate the matter of illegal immigration, by telling the American people they cannot have border security without a guest worker program, without an increase in legal immigration, and without granting amnesty to all or most of the illegal aliens who have come across our borders without our permission.

The majority of American people feel insulted by this Obama / La Raza argument and will not support proposals based on such inverted logic.

The need to secure the borders of the United States first is so obvious that ordinary citizens suspect the motives of politicians like Barack Obama who do not want to do it. And they are right to have such suspicions as they become more aware of the Obama / La Raza partnership.

The Minutemen patrol on the Arizona-Mexico border during the full month of April in 2005 demonstrated to the entire world that the flow of illegal aliens across the border can be controlled by a physical presence on the border.

That Minutemen project was the turning point in the national debate over illegal immigration – not some policy paper published in Washington, D.C., or any speech by any politician. The action of citizens themselves tore down the wall of denial that policymakers and bureaucrats had so carefully constructed.

Once citizens understood that the border can be made secure by the simple addition of adequate manpower, the debate changed. Citizens will not trust leaders like Barack Obama who insult their intelligence by claiming we have to provide additional ways to enter the country legally before we can stop illegal entry.

Our leaders in Washington must chart a new course by admitting to the American people that we can secure our broken borders and that we will do so. Where those courageous leaders will come from is not readily apparent. Hopefully in the next election we can send patriots to Washington who care more about America than they do about filling up their bank account.

All parties and factions can and should come together to immediately secure our borders and deport illegal aliens for the good of the nation. All other legislative proposals should be put aside until politicians can demonstrate to American citizens that we have actually achieved secure borders – not talked about them, not promised them, not adopted a plan for them, but actually achieved secure borders.

It is also important for President Obama to remember that this is not a partisan issue involving La Raza. Our national security, sovereignty, and identity are not items for partisan maneuvering and Chicano ass-kissing in order to secure votes for the Democrat party.

The American people have good reason to be wary of any Obama plan that merely promises border security in exchange for another amnesty. We learned from the disaster of the 1986 amnesty that both border security and interior enforcement must be clearly demonstrated, not merely promised.

Let’s see if Barack Obama has the integrity and courage to risk his popularity with La Raza to keep his oath and promise to the legal citizens of America ... "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Stopping Illegal Immigration

Illegal immigration is an enormous problem for the United States, and one that is growing, with 15 million illegal aliens currently estimated to be in the U.S. While most efforts to halt illegal immigration have focused on our southern land border, the difficulties are spread throughout the entire immigration system. Spotty or haphazard efforts to end illegal immigration cannot succeed.

The loopholes that facilitate illegal immigration must be closed.

We need to:

  1. use expeditious exclusion of fraudulent entrants at airports;

  2. limit the Attorney General's excess authority to parole aliens into the country;

  3. cap the number of asylum grantees;

  4. reinstitute authority for the Border Patrol to conduct open-field searches;

  5. stop seventy-two-hour deportation notices (known as "run letters");

  6. eliminate legalistic delaying tactics in immigration hearings;

  7. eliminate the visa waiver program.

  8. Incentives for illegal immigration must be eliminated.

We need to:

  1. stop giving citizenship to the children of illegal aliens and foreign visitors;

  2. withhold work authorization to those with pending asylum claims;

  3. establish a universal system for checking welfare and work eligibility;

  4. end all public benefits for illegal aliens.

  5. The penalties for violating immigration law must be increased.

We need to:

  1. bar from later immigration those who make frivolous asylum applications and 'no-shows';

  2. make alien smuggling and document fraud into racketeering crimes;

  3. bar reentry to any alien receiving a five-year prison sentence;

  4. withhold funds from localities that refuse to cooperate with efforts to end illegal immigration;

  5. hold sponsors accountable for immigrants they sponsor;

  6. deport immigrants who become public charges.

  7. Existing programs that are particularly effective must be expanded.

We need to:

  1. widen use of pre-inspection programs abroad and frequent-traveler inspection procedures;

  2. extend the Border Patrol canine program and highway checkpoint system;

  3. expand the institutional hearing program and the special U.S. Attorneys program;

  4. increase interior repatriation and deportation hearings of criminal aliens by telephone;

  5. broaden the assets seizure program.

  6. Government agencies must coordinate their efforts better and more extensively.

Only in Obama's America could critics of a group called “The Race” be labeled racists. Such is the triumph of left-wing identity chauvinists, whose aggressive activists and supine abettors have succeeded in redefining all opposition as “hate.”

Here are 15 things you should know about “The Race”:

15. “The Race” supports driver’s licenses for illegal aliens.

14.”The Race” demands in-state tuition discounts for illegal alien students that are not available to law-abiding U.S. citizens and law-abiding legal immigrants.

13. “The Race” vehemently opposes cooperative immigration enforcement efforts between local, state, and federal authorities.

12. “The Race” opposes a secure fence on the southern border.

11. “The Race” joined the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in a failed lawsuit attempt to prevent the feds from entering immigration information into a key national crime database — and to prevent local police officers from accessing the data.

10. “The Race” opposed the state of Oklahoma’s tough immigration-enforcement-first laws, which cut off welfare to illegal aliens, put teeth in employer sanctions, and strengthened local-federal cooperation and information sharing.

9. “The Race” joined other open-borders, anti-assimilationists and sued to prevent Proposition 227, California’s bilingual education reform ballot initiative, from becoming law.

8. “The Race” bitterly protested common-sense voter ID provisions as an “absolute disgrace.”

7. “The Race” has consistently opposed post-9/11 national security measures at every turn.

6. Former “Race” president Raul Yzaguirre, Hillary Clinton’s Hispanic outreach adviser, said this: “U.S. English is to Hispanics as the Ku Klux Klan is to blacks.” He was referring to U.S. English, the nation’s oldest, largest citizens’ action group dedicated to preserving the unifying role of the English language in the United States. “The Race” also pioneered Orwellian open-borders Newspeak and advised the Mexican government on how to lobby for illegal alien amnesty while avoiding the terms “illegal” and “amnesty.”

5. “The Race” gives mainstream cover to a poisonous subset of ideological satellites, led by Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA). The late GOP Rep. Charlie Norwood rightly characterized the organization as “a radical racist group . . . one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.”

4. “The Race” is currently leading a smear campaign against staunch immigration-enforcement leaders and has called for TV and cable news networks to keep immigration enforcement proponents off the airwaves — in addition to pushing for Fairness Doctrine policies to shut up their foes. The New York Times reported that current “Race” president Janet Murguia believes “hate speech” should “not be tolerated, even if such censorship were a violation of First Amendment rights.”

3. “The Race” sponsors militant ethnic nationalist charter schools subsidized by your public tax dollars (at least $8 million in federal education grants). The schools include Aztlan Academy in Tucson, Ariz., the Mexicayotl Academy in Nogales, Ariz., Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School in St. Paul, Minn., and La Academia Semillas del Pueblo in Los Angeles, whose principal inveighed: “We don’t want to drink from a White water fountain, we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We don’t need a White water fountain . . . ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction.”

2. “The Race” has perfected the art of the PC shakedown at taxpayer expense, pushing relentlessly to lower home-loan standards for Hispanic borrowers, reaping millions in federal “mortgage counseling” grants, seeking special multimillion-dollar earmarks, and partnering with banks that do business with illegal aliens.

1. “The Race” thrives on ethnic supremacy — and the elite sheeple’s unwillingness to call it what it is. As historian Victor Davis Hansonobserves: “[The] organization’s very nomenclature ‘The National Council of La Raza’ is hate speech to the core. Despite all the contortions of the group, Raza (as its Latin cognate suggests) reflects the meaning of ‘race’ in Spanish, not ‘the people’ — and that’s precisely why we don’t hear of something like ‘The National Council of the People,’ which would not confer the buzz notion of ethnic, racial and tribal chauvinism.”
